Dr. Carrie Bourassa, Associate Professor, Indigenous Health Studies for the First Nations University of Canada, was awarded a Canada Foundation for Innovation (CFI) Leaders Opportunity grant to develop these labs at FNUniv.

October 12, 2011 - First Nations University of Canada Welcomes Dr. Lynn Wells as VP Academic
Doyle Anderson, President of First Nations University of Canada (FNUniv), today announced the appointment of Dr. Lynn Wells as Vice-President Academic.
“Dr. Wells brings exceptional qualifications to this position. My goal is to put a strong stable leadership team in place to guide the university’s future. Dr. Wells definitely fits that description,” said Anderson.

The University of Regina and the First Nations University of Canada will play host to Their Excellencies the Right Honourable David Johnston, Governor General of Canada, and Mrs. Sharon Johnston on Monday, September 12. The Governor General will be greeted by University of Regina President and Vice-Chancellor Vianne Timmons and First Nations University of Canada President Doyle Anderson. May 16th, 2011 - First Nations University of Canada Announces New President
Regina, May 16, 2011: The First Nations University of Canada Board of Governors is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Doyle Anderson as the next President. Dr. Anderson currently serves as Executive Director of the Indigenous Nations Institute and Director of the Native American Business Administration Program at Idaho State University. Dr. Anderson will assume his duties on August 2, 2011.
