Strategic Planning

I am pleased to report that the First Nations University of Canada is in a good place. We have stable funding, a balanced budget for the first time in seven years and we are working on revitalizing and renewing our institution.

As we work on moving forward we have started the process of developing a strategic plan for the institution. Strategic Planning is a high priority for me and important to our team of committed employees and students as we move forward. As a result, FNUniv has developed a committee of staff and faculty from all areas of the institution who are engaged in the strategic planning process.

In the coming months, we will be engaging First Nations communities, partners and stakeholders to work with us to develop our strategic plan for the institution. We will also meet with all of our staff and students to draw on their commitment and energy to create an exciting strategic plan. I look forward to meeting you and engaging with you in conversations about the future direction of the First Nations University of Canada.

This is an exciting time to be a part of FNUniv as we look forward to growth, development and expanding programs.

We welcome you to share your ideas and input with us.

Best regards,

Dr. Doyle Anderson,
President
