For 35 years, First Nations University of Canada (FNUniv) has been an important part of the University of Regina.  Originally established in 1976 as the Saskatchewan Indian Federated College, it was created as an acknowledgement that together as a society, we must ensure that through post-secondary education, Canada's Aboriginal peoples can define and realize their role in the country.
