About the team
The Saskatchewan Teachers’ Federation team of accounting professionals oversee all accounting and financial activities, and establish financial policies, procedures, internal controls and reporting systems.

What you’ll do
The Accounts Receivable Clerk is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely processing of accounts receivable transactions, including invoicing, cash application, deposits, and remittance monitoring, while maintaining compliance with internal controls, legislation, and organizational policies. This position contributes to financial integrity by managing payments, deposits, reconciliations and reporting, supporting the audit process and providing exceptional service to internal and external stakeholders.

What you’ll bring

  • Completion of an accounting or business diploma from a recognized educational institution plus 2-3 years of related experience.
  • Experience in payroll along with a National Payroll Institute designation is an asset.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively use payroll, accounting and Microsoft applications.
  • Effective interpersonal skills in developing and maintaining effective working relationships.
  • High work standards related to information accuracy, completeness and confidentiality.
  • Demonstrated application of analytical and problem-solving skills and ability to work under strict deadlines.
  • Demonstrated initiative in undertaking assignments and completing work.
  • Knowledge of office procedures and practices.
