Students Gather for Winter 2026 Orientation

January 7, 2026

On January 6, 2026, First Nations University of Canada (FNUniv) proudly welcomed new students across all its campuses as part of the Winter 2026 Orientation events. The day served as an important introduction to the FNUniv community, giving students a chance to meet the faculty, staff, and administrators who are dedicated to supporting them through their academic journey.

In addition to these connections, students were also able to engage with Student Association Representatives, as well as Elders and Knowledge Keepers, whose presence and guidance are central to student life, cultural learning, and overall educational experience at FNUniv.

During the orientation, students received a welcome gift and participated in guided tours of their respective campus. These tours helped them become familiar with key services, learning spaces, cultural supports, and student resources available to them as they begin the new term.

As the Winter 2026 semester gets underway, we extend our warmest wishes to all new and returning students. May this term be filled with strong beginnings, meaningful connections, and continued success. We’re grateful to have you as part of the FNUniv community and look forward to the learning growth, and shared experiences ahead.
