Name of Project:
Statistical Analysis of The Influence of Temperature Oscillations on Birth and Death Time Series in Provinces and Territories of Canada

Team Members:
Dr. Arzu Sardarli (Principal Investigator, FNUniv) and Dr. Andrei Volodin (Investigator, University of Regina)

Partners:
University of Regina, Statistics Canada

Funding Institution/Grant:
University of Regina ($5000), Statistics Canada (data provider)

Summary of the Project:
Within this project, we study the correlation between the Temperature, Birth and Death time series using the Fourier Analysis. We apply a novel method to improve the accuracy of temperature measurements. Two research assistants (graduate students) have been appointed for working on the project.
