Position: Wood Shop Production Worker – Saskatoon Branch
Employment type: Permanent, Full-time

Duties and responsibilities:
Under the direction of the Senior Supervisor, the successful applicant will perform production duties and may assist in the
coordination and delivery of training to program clients.
Duties include:
• Performing production activities and operating production machinery including Mitre saws, up cut saws, table saw, airnailers, pallet jacks, multi rip saw, banding machines, and material handling equipment
• Assisting in job planning, supervision and delegation of duties to area clients
• Ensuring area procedures are followed to ensure product quality, production efficiency and safe working conditions
• Shipping and receiving materials
• Assisting with inventory counts
• Performing production activities and operating production machinery in additional Training Centre Departments as
required
• Other duties as assigned by Supervisor or Senior Supervisor
Qualifications:
Education:
• Grade 12 Diploma or equivalent
Experience:
• Industrial, mechanical and/or woodworking experience
• Forklift operator’s certificate and WHMIS certification are considered assets
Skills:
• Strong interpersonal skills and a desire to work effectively with individuals experiencing disabilities
• Strong math and communication skills
Final Candidates are required to provide satisfactory criminal record checks including a vulnerable sector search.
Compensation: Pay Class 12 (range of $21.10 to $25.78 per hour) plus benefit package
