Conference Description

Join us for a powerful day of learning, connection, and reflection.

Presented by FNUniv’s Indigenous Social Work Alumni group, this conference will bring together helpers, learners, and knowledge keepers to support one another and uplift culturally grounded practices in the field.

Workshop Description

Interactive workshops will provide participants with hands-on learning experiences focused on pressing issues within the Indigenous social work field. Possible session/workshop topics include:

  • Child Welfare
  • Health
  • Cultural Competence
  • Burnout and Self-Care
  • Grief and Loss
  • Trauma-Informed Care
  • Lateral Violence
  • Advocacy
  • Language
