Introduction
Due to the unique nature of First Nations University of Canada (FNUniv) being a federated college to the University of Regina (UofR), when employees are hired by FNUniv they are automatically set up with a uregina.ca email address. When the UofR sends out mass communication and updates, it automatically goes to FNUniv employees’ uregina.ca email address and is often missed.
Purpose
The purpose of this policy is to:
- Outline expectations for FNUniv employees to forward their UofR emails
Scope
This policy applies to all employees of FNUniv.
Policy Statements
The policy states the following:
- All FNUniv employees are required to automatically forward their UofR email address to their FNUniv email address to ensure important information is not missed. This only needs to be completed once, and can be completed by following the steps outlined here: https://www.uregina.ca/is/student/email/index.html
Consequences for Noncompliance
Failure to comply with this policy and any related procedures could result in investigation and, in some cases, disciplinary measures.
