2024 Indigenous Youth Entrepreneurship Camp

Application Deadline: July 19, 2024

Camp Dates: August 12 – 16, 2024 (Monday – Friday)

Arrival & Registration: Monday, August 12, 1:00 pm – 3:15 pm

The Indigenous Youth Entrepreneurship Camp, hosted at the First Nations University of Canada – Regina Campus, is targeted toward Indigenous Youth in grades 10 to 12. We also accept applicants who just completed high school.

The camp is a fun way to learn about Indigenous Entrepreneurship and connect with other students interested in the same field. Participants will have the opportunity to gain a basic understanding of small business management and entrepreneurship, have the chance to meet and learn from Saskatchewan’s leading Indigenous entrepreneurs, go on field trips, become familiar with the university environment, and compete for prizes against fellow entrepreneurs.

Our class time focuses on learning the fundamental tools in:

  • Marketing
  • Advertising
  • Cash flow projections & finance
  • Creating successful business plans
  • Presenting your finalized business concepts

Travel allowance may be available if you qualify. A screening committee will select the top 20-22 applicants to participate in this year’s camp.
