*IMPORTANT* CANADA POST STRIKE

The Canadian Union of Postal Workers began striking on September 25, 2025. The First Nations University of Canada (FNUniv) expects service disruptions to start immediately.

The Canada Post Strike will impact students in the following ways:

  • The National Student Loans Service Centre (NSLSC) processes payments to First Nations University of Canada (FNUniv) via cheques mailed to the Finance Office at the Regina Campus.
  • Once the Finance Office at First Nations University of Canada receives the cheque, the student loan payment is applied to the necessary student(s) account.
  • First Nations University of Canada is expecting delays, specifically regarding payments from the NSLSC.
  • Any late fees related to delays in payments from NSLSC will be waived.

If you have any questions regarding your student loan or payments, please contact receivables@firstnationsuniversity.ca
